It can help with conflict resolution within your relationships.

So, how can psychotherapy help you?

By providing a safe and confidential space, we offer a supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Through meaningful conversations and evidence-based techniques, we guide you towards a deeper understanding of yourself, helping you navigate life's challenges and discover your own inner resources.

Our approach to psychotherapy and counselling is integrative, drawing upon various therapeutic modalities to meet your specific needs. We recognise that each individual is unique, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing. By combining different therapeutic modalities, we tailor our interventions to suit your preferences, personality, and goals, fostering a collaborative and empowering therapeutic relationship.

One approach we integrate into our practice is the Adlerian approach, which shares roots with Freudian psychoanalysis. Derived from the pioneering work of Alfred Adler, this approach emphasises the significance of social interest and belonging in our lives. It explores how our sense of connection, community, and personal meaning impact our mental and emotional wellbeing. By incorporating Adlerian principles into our therapy, we support you in developing a sense of purpose, building healthier relationships, and cultivating a greater sense of belonging in your life.

Our psychotherapy and counselling services offer a wide range of benefits to clients. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, self-esteem concerns, or life transitions, we provide a compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can explore and process your experiences. Our therapists are skilled in helping you develop coping strategies, improve communication skills, and enhance your self-awareness, empowering you to make positive changes and live a more fulfilling life.

What next?

The initial session is via the phone and free. We will use this time to find out whether we both feel that we can work together effectively. Building the client and counsellor relationship is the most important aspect of therapy. This, too, is when we can discuss the counselling contract and any possible concessions.
