"Change is the essence of life; be willing to surrender what you are for what you could become"

Hi, I’m Tracey
Adlerian Counsellor & Psychotherapist | Trauma-Focused & Somatic Therapy Informed Practitioner | Flash Technique Practitioner
As If you’re finding life difficult, feeling overwhelmed, stuck in familiar patterns, or struggling to understand why you feel the way you do, therapy can offer you a safe space to pause, reflect and begin to make sense of your experiences.
I’m Tracey, an experienced Counsellor and Psychotherapist with over 26 years’ experience supporting people through a wide range of emotional, psychological and life challenges.
My approach is warm, compassionate, holistic and individualised. I believe that you are the expert in your own life, and I work collaboratively with you to understand what you need, what may be holding you back, and what you would like to change.
As an Adlerian counsellor & psychotherapist, I’m interested in understanding you as a whole person — your experiences, relationships, beliefs, behaviours and the world around you. Together, we can gently explore habits, behaviours, thoughts and beliefs, that may no longer be helpful, whilst developing greater self-awareness, selfcompassion, confidence and empowerment.
I am a highly trained and experienced trauma-focused and somatic therapy informed practitioner, and a Flash Technique Practitioner.
I recognise that experiences of stress and trauma can affect both the mind and the body. Where appropriate, I draw on somatic approaches and Flash Technique to support you in working with distressing experiences in a gentle, contained and manageable way.
These approaches can help you develop a greater sense of calm and safety, whilst supporting you to process difficult experiences at a pace that feels right for you.
I have extensive training and experience in neurodiversity-informed practice, supporting individuals and families to better understand themselves and each other.
Whether you are exploring your own neurodivergence, experiencing challenges within relationships or family life, or trying to understand how neurodiversity may be affecting your emotional wellbeing, I offer an accepting, inclusive and nonjudgemental space
Through my work as a holistic practitioner at Dragonfly Holistic Wellbeing, alongside my experience within the healthcare sector, I have developed a deep appreciation of the connection between our emotional, mental, physical, social and spiritual wellbeing.
My previous and continuing work with Reflexology and Aromatherapy within healthcare has also given me extensive experience supporting people living with serious illness and those receiving palliative care. This has strengthened my understanding of the importance of compassion, dignity, choice and quality of life during some of life's most challenging moments.
I understand that taking the first step towards therapy can feel daunting. You may not know exactly what you need, or even where to begin — and that's okay. You don't need to have the right words, or everything worked out before you come to therapy.
I offer a safe, warm and empathically non-judgemental space where you can be heard, understood and accepted as you are.
Whether you are struggling with your emotional wellbeing, experiencing the effects of trauma or stress, navigating relationships of family life, or simply feeling that something needs to change, together, we can explore what is happening for you, develop a deeper understanding of yourself and work towards creating positive and meaningful change.
My aim is to help you feel more connected to yourself, more empowered in your choices, and better able to move forward with greater balance, confidence and wellbeing.
You don't have to navigate it alone.

Hi, I'm Clare
Welcome to Dragonfly Holistic Wellbeing.
I’m passionate about helping people understand themselves more deeply, feel more connected and find a greater sense of balance and wellbeing. My approach is holistic, compassionate and individualised, recognising that every person’s journey is unique.
Alongside my work as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist, I have extensive experience in neurodiversity, trauma, couples counselling, sexual health, Brainspotting, IFS, somatic therapy, life coaching, pregnancy and baby loss.
My experience in neurodiversity
For over 20 years, I have worked as a diagnostic assessor with neurodivergent children and adults. I also work as a neurodiversity consultant, supporting individuals and families to navigate challenges while recognising and celebrating the strengths that neurodiversity can bring.
I also supervise counsellors working in this area, helping ensure that therapeutic support is thoughtful, appropriate and tailored to each individual.
Creativity, connection and the whole person
I am a Creative Writing Therapist and Expressive Arts Practitioner, and I have a PhD in Creative Writing. I believe creativity can open doors to self-expression, reflection and emotional wellbeing, particularly when words alone don’t quite capture what we are
experiencing.
I’m also fascinated by psychogeography — the relationship between people, places and the environments in which we live. This interest forms part of my understanding of how our surroundings can shape our experiences, memories and sense of identity.
My practice also acknowledges the importance of spirituality, the five senses and our connection with the world around us. I believe wellbeing encompasses the whole person — physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, geographically and spiritually.
A space to be yourself
At Dragonfly Holistic Wellbeing, I aim to create a warm, safe and non-judgemental space where you can explore who you are, what you have experienced and what you would like to change.
I won’t tell you who you should be or how you should live. Instead, I will work alongside you, drawing on my experience and a range of therapeutic approaches to help you discover what feels right for you.
You are the expert in your own life. Together, we can explore your story, recognise your strengths and support you towards greater self-awareness, balance and wellbeing.
If you’re considering therapy and would like to see whether we might be a good fit, I offer a free 20-minute telephone call. There’s no pressure or commitment — simply an opportunity to talk and take that first step.
